Ron Nagy named Collision Repair Executive of the Year
Ron Nagy, President Nagy’s Collision Specialists
Orrville, OH October 18, 2010 – Ron Nagy co-owner of Nagy’s Collision Specialists has been named the Collision Repair Executive of the Year by Body Shop Business Magazine. The 2010 Collision Repair Executive of the Year announcement was made during ASRW (Automotive Service Repair Week) at NACE in the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV.
The award has been given since 1984 to a true collision repair visionary who has experienced great success by being forward-thinking, overcoming challenges and persevering.
“I am greatly humbled by this award which is only possible because of the high standards, both morally and ethically, set by my parents who started the business. Also by the support of both my wife and my brother, who is my business partner and shares the same visions for our business. And by the great managers and technicians who make up the Nagy’s team,” said Ron Nagy, co-owner of Nagy’s Collision Specialists.
Ron currently serves on the Ohio Board of Motor Vehicle Collision Repair Registration and is past chair of the Crash Parts Subcommittee and Government Affairs Committee of the Automotive Service Association. He also has served in various capacities on the ASA Collision Division Operations Committee. He’s a 1996 graduate of the Automotive Management Institute and holds an ASE Collision Master Tech Certification and is I-CAR Platinum.
He is also active in his community, having taught Sunday School every Sunday
for the last 21 years at Grace Church to 7th and 8th graders. Nagy’s was voted “2009 Business of the Year” by the Wooster Chamber of Commerce. It was also voted best body shop in the Akron-Canton area by Fox 8 News.
