Is Your Company Use-Tax Compliant?

Millersburg, OH  — The Ohio Department of Taxation is working to collect use tax from Ohio businesses; however, many business owners doen't even know what the use tax is.

 

Attend the Holmes County Chamber of Commerce's June membership luncheon to learn more abou the Ohio Use Tax Education Program (UTEP), what the tax is, and common problems with sales & use tax. UTEP is a program run by the Ohio Department of Taxation that will be educating taxpayers, and eventually collecting money on unpaid tax.

 

Brian Kempf, CPA, from Rea & Associates, will provide the presentation. Brian joined the Rea team in 2006. He obtained his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Originally from Shickley, Nebraska, he now lives in Kidron, with his wife, Jenna, and their son, Mason.

 

The luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. June 7 at Bags Sports Pub in Millersburg. The cost for lunch will $10.
